Lynn Pisano, Darien Garden Club member Propagation Lynn is a former Master Gardener who left the business world in 1998 to pursue her interest in Horticultural Therapy. She has taken numerous horticulture classes at College of DuPage and horticultural therapy seminars at the Chicago Botanic Garden and HT conferences. Lynn was a contract employee for nine years with the Horticultural Therapy Department of the Chicago Botanic Garden, where she conducted onsite activities at schools, assisted living facilities and VA hospitals. She has volunteered with numerous agencies devoting her time and energy to programs serving children and the elderly as well as physically, emotionally and mentally challenged individuals. Lynn loves to flower arrange and enjoys recycling donated funeral flowers into arrangements for those who need some cheer. She recently presented a propagation workshop to children at Willowbrook Corner, amazing the children with the possibility of propagation. Roll up your sleeves, prepare to get your hands dirty, and share in the amazement of propagation.
***Anyone who would like to do a propagation project should bring a medium sized pot to the meeting. All other materials will be provided.***
